In 1966 Brian Wilson began work on the follow up to the Beach Boys classic, Pet Sounds. The initial result was the revolutionary 'Good Vibrations''. The new album was to be called 'Smile'. But before it could be completed, a tumultuous set of circumstances caused Wilson to abandon it. Over the years 'Smile' became the most famous unfinished album in pop music history, until 37 years later, when in 2004, Wilson completed his masterpiece.
