Bucky Covington - Thunder Rolls

When Bucky first came out on to the Idol stage and did a hideous version of the Lynyrd Skynyrd song 'Simple Man' (which I don't have, so don't bother asking), I felt bad.

I thought he was cute, and had a good voice.

But the performance lacked a lot and his voice (especially in the middle) was this really ugly rough gravely shouting tone.

And since we knew absolutely nothing about him, I thought he'd just go home right after.

He was one of the several Idol 'strangers' we met when the Top 24 was announced, and he didn't have that extra 'cushion' to fallback on incase of a botched lyric or bad song choice.

But, America let him through (which I thought was great).

'Let's give him another shot' I thought to myself.

And TADA! He redeemed himself and made me a total Bucky Fanatic.

Definately one of his strongest performances.

I LOVE Country (which you don't hear very often, coming from a male hispanic teenager).

And Bucky does it with flair and sexy goo-goo eyes at the camera.
