(May 21)Drew Peterson walked out of jail Wednesday afternoon after one of his sons posted 75-hundred dollars bail. The former Bolingbrook, Illinois police officer turned himself in to authorities after he was charged with unlawful use of a weapon. That's because the barrel of one of his semiautomatic rifle's was apparently too short under state law. The weapon was one of nearly a dozen seized during a search of his home in November. That's weeks after his fourth wife Stacy Peterson disappeared. Peterson is considered a suspect, but hasn't been charged in that case. And police are also investigating the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. Her 2004 death was initially ruled an accident, but a recent autopsy determined she was killed.
