One of the fathers of gangsta rap, Ice Cube's fifth solo release "Lethal Injection" (1993) marked the height of the west coast hip hop. Always political, many of Ice Cube's videos were under heavy scrutiny by government officials and activists alike. This particular video denotes the political failure of the banning of gangsta rap by George Bush Sr. and C. Delores Tucker.
