In the 80s and 90s, Spy magazine did a couple specials about celebrity life...in this one, from their "Spy Magazine Hit List" special covering the worst 100 things about 1992, they took a shot at the "duet with a dead celebrity" trend which was only STARTING then- pre-Tupac, pre-dancing with a Dirt Devil- by forcing Janis Joplin to do a duet with Wayne Newton.
