Major AU: Kelly gets engaged while still filming 'The O.C.' The guy is a real jerk and the cast is not too fond of him. They try to convince and show Kelly what a bad guy he is. Sometimes they are successful and get her to realize that he is a jerk. However, her fiancé manages to keep pulling her back in.

Kelly isn't herself anymore. She is now drinking a lot more and is no longer all laughs. The entire set becomes a war zone as people try to convince her to get away from this guy. It becomes very tense and no one can walk three feet without witnessing some argument. Things become awkward and tiresome. The cast begins fighting with each other about petty things, things that sometimes have nothing to do with Kelly. No one is sure of the correct approach to take with her anymore. She tells them she's a big girl and can make her own decisions but everyone's afraid she's making a horrible mistake.

Ben tries to talk to her but she absolutely refuses to listen to him, telling him that it's not his place to tell her how to live. He and Mischa manage to walk in on an argument between her and Peter. Ben wants to just leave, knowing that Peter will lose and there's nothing that can be done or said to win. Mischa feels that they need to help but soon realizes that she doesn't know what to say either.

Peter is very concerned about her. He misses the way they used to talk. Kelly does nothing but argue with him now or walk off. He hates the way this guy makes her feel and doesn't understand why she can't see how he's changing her. She's a different Kelly. She's angry and depressed. A few times, Peter has even come to talk to Kelly and found her crying. It breaks his heart but he is relieved that she will still cry on his shoulder. It kills him to think that this moment will soon be gone and they will be back to arguing because they both know that her fiancé will sweet talk his way back into her heart even though he hurt her. Peter knows that this guy is verbally abusing Kelly and making her feel less of herself. Peter tries to listen to Kelly's logic of why she's staying with this guy but it never makes much sense.

At the very end, Peter comes to talk to her again. Kelly doesn't want to have this conversation for the fiftieth time. So she walks out. Peter tries again later and is shut out of her trailer without a word. He's beginning to feel as if they are truly losing her and the Kelly they love may never return.

Disclaimer: I am in no way saying that this is taking place nor that it will take place. I would never wish for this to happen. I love Kelly with all my heart and would never want her hurt like this. Also notice that I never gave a name for her fiancé. It is just a video so please don't get upset.
