Tonya Harding - Nancy Kerrigan Saga, Part 2

12/17/07 UPDATE - As you may have heard on the news, Shawn Eckart passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at the age of 40. He had legally changed his name to Brian Allen Griffith after being convicted of racketeering (for hiring the hitmen to attack Nancy). Clips of interviews, profiles and footage on Tonya Harding after the 1993 Nationals where she missed making the World team by placing 4th; on the attack of Nancy Kerrigan at the 1994 US Nationals in Detroit, Michigan. She was attacked at the smaller sized Cobo Arena between the official hotel Westin Renaissance and the main rink where the competition was held. I was with some friends watching the Junior Ladies' Short Program when this incident occurred. What you didn't see here was Kerrigan continuing to cry and started calling for her "papa" and voicing out that she was "so scared." It was a very sad, heartbreaking moment to see and hear her like this.
