No apologies for showing this as a moment when I and millions of others felt so proud to be British. Buckingham Palace and Green Park come alive with music, pictures and fireworks to celebrate 50 years of Elizabeth II's reign. I must admit my favourite moment comes after about 3:30 of this clip when you hear the climax of Benjamin Britten's piece 'Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra' (itself based on a theme by Purcell)- guaranteed to get the hairs on the back of your neck on end ...
