The video was filmed on January 13, 2010. The clip features Fergie wearing Louboutin designer footwear and a black metallic leotard. Extras were dressed as robots. It was shot on a desert road in Lancaster, California. Filming was interrupted by a sudden sand storm, however, as the storm passed, filming resumed.[6]

The music video, directed by Rich Lee, was shot back to back with the video for "Rock That Body". The two songs share the same video, which is over 10 minutes in total and is titled "Imma Be Rocking That Body".

The music video premiered on Vevo and Dipdive on Tuesday, 16 February 2010.

The video begins with will.i.am introducing the rest of the members to a speech machine that features their voices, Fergie is unhappy about this because she believes that it would take out the "soul" of the music and it wouldn't be real, as she storms out, she shouts "We're not robots!", she gets on a motorcycle and drives, as she gets to a junction, she is hit by a car. She wakes up on a road in a desert, she gets up and sings her the first verse. She arrives at a bar and finds will.i.am who is stuck on a loop of pouring his drink. She taps his beats which makes him stop, he realizes that a robot is following them and they both hide. As the robot looks for them, they both escape in a hovercar. The robot chases them but it runs out of energy. They arrive at a scrapyard where they find Apl.de.ap who is also stuck on a loop, Will taps him and makes him stop. Apl brings a good robot to life as they dig though the scrap and find Taboo who's top half of his body is disconnected from the bottom, Will and Apl carry him as they find a pair of legs walking around the scrapyard and they quickly fix him. As Apl.de.ap sings his verse, the robots are dancing in the background and the song changes to "Rock That Body" and they teleport to a city, where "Imma Be Rocking That Body" continues.

The video was directed by Melina Matsoukas in January 2010. Melina directed Rihanna's 'Hard' video.

Rihanna described the video as "completely different from any other video I've shot before. A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough. 'Rude Boy' is more playing along the lines from my roots. We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dance-hall queen type."

The music video for "Kings and Queens" was directed by Jared Leto with the pseudonym of Bartholomew Cubbins and premiered at The Montalban Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, November 9, 2009 and posted online on November 11.[5] It had two main themes: One featuring cyclists, Jared, Shannon and Tomo among them, riding in downtown Los Angeles.[6] To shoot this part of the video, parts of the city were closed off, including the Santa Monica Pier.[7] The other part of the video simply features the band playing on a cliff edge in Griffith Park overlooking the city. These two themes alternate between each other during the course of the video. Jared Leto has been quoted saying that the video was "basically a love letter to Los Angeles."[8]

"Stranger in a Strange Land" is played during the credits for the full music video.

The video makes reference to other artists, notably Banksy and his man throwing flowers.

"Two Is Better Than One" is the title of a song written by Martin Johnson. It was recorded by Boston alternative rock group Boys Like Girls. It is included on their second studio album Love Drunk, which was released in 2009. The song is the second official single from the album. It features Taylor Swift, the first time that the country pop artist has been involved in a hit single as a featured rather than main artist.

Due to both of their rising popularity, the song has become Boys Like Girls' third, and second consecutive, Top 40 single on the Billboard Hot 100. Also, it gave Swift her twenty-first Top 40 on that chart. For the chart week of January 9, 2010, the song became Boys Like Girls' first Top 20 single on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming their biggest to date, and Swift's eleventh Top 20 single.

The music video was directed by Syndrome and begins with Kesha awaking from a bathtub in a home as she stumbles out and begins to look for a toothbrush in the restroom. She makes her way down a staircase looking at the picture lining the wall. It becomes apparent that she isn't in her own house because she is not present in the family portrait hanging from the wall. Kesha makes her way to the kitchen, walking in on the family having breakfast startling them. She shrugs and then leaves the home as the family gets up and follows her. When she arrives at the sidewalk, she picks up a gold bicycle lying against a fallen fence and rides off. Kesha meets a group of children where she trades the bicycle for their boombox. The video cuts to another scene where she rejects a guy that is walking down the street and looking at her, and is picked up by a man portrayed by Simon Rex[33] who drives her in a gold 1978 Trans Am. They are pulled over by the police who handcuff Kesha. The scene then pans to her singing while standing up in the convertible with the handcuffs hanging from one of her arms as she dangles it in front of the camera. The next scene showcases Kesha in an empty room filled with glitter. She then attends a party with Barry for the final scene. The video comes to an end with Kesha lying in a different bathtub to the one she woke up in.[32] The gold car used in the video belonged to Kesha and the video was shot in Kesha's old neighborhood. The final party scene was shot at one of her friend's house they called 'The Drunk Tank'.

MGMT was not involved in the making of this video, however, they became involved down the line.
The story goes like this:
December 2007: Rushing to make a due date for a USC Music Video class, I ask my friends Raf and Abby to appear in my video. I like the way they bounce off of each other despite completely different personality types, and think they both have interesting faces. Raf didn't want to shave so I didn't push him. We shot in one night, I cut overnight, turn it in and call it the worst thing I've done so far.
January 2008: On a whim one night while visiting home in Austin, Texas, I throw the video on Youtube just for kicks.
April 2008: Ray Tintori, who has directed 3 official videos for MGMT, finds my fan video online and invites myself and my two actors to come to New York to appear in MGMTs next official video for Electric Feel.
May 2008: We go to New York and have a great time on the set with the band and all their friends.

Message from Abby, the facepaint girl in the video:

We are celebrating over a year since Jon posted this video!
We never would have thought this would get over 8 million hits, I never even thought it would make it on the internet.
I've put together some commemorative T-shirts for anyone who had enjoyed the video and wants to support. http://www.cafepress.com/FacepaintTshirt
Thanks so much!
xoxox
Abby

You can also visit Abby's myspace here:
www.myspace.com/abrafever

I've got three more music videos coming down the chute guys, expect to see them around the second week of February.

-J
