I've tried those before. They're hella expensive but they work like the real deal. But I'd say go and try the Numark joints too before you buy the Technics.

if we're talkin general attitude of the industry in modern times then id say you are definately wrong about that now.

but personal taste is cool.

lets say you were a dj that actually made it and had to play top 40 shit for the average crowd and needed records you would not need for more than a few months like nelly, cassidy type shit....

youre sayin you would spend the cash to buy the vinyl for shit like that? instead of just gettin the mp3's and makin 1 cd-r out of it and usin that?

Do you collect? Like non-hip-hop shit? See, I do. And I've got hella breaks and shit that cats aren't up on and if I wanted to use them in a routine I'd end up fucking up the records. Plus there's the real rare shit that's hard to get doubles of. I know Paturn's into breakbeat type of shit and my guess is this is where he's coming from.

well see the thing is my cd collection or whatever you want to call it pretty large and growing by the week

i dont have the money to go out and buy some 1200's then go back and reinvest into vinyl especially when it comes to the non existent shit "ie Freestyle Fellowship, Original Flavor, Incredible Bongo Band Etc"

i am eventually going to go that route im very bery pro vinyl

Im actually learning the foundation and all that of spinning right now with my boy on his 1200's so im learning through the vinyl route so i can utilize that while spinning on the cd decks. I know its not the same but at least ill know the "proper" way to spin instead of just pushing a button and crossing the fader

and yes thug doug thats only a small portion of it hahaha
my boy has 2 original pressings of JJ Johnson "Across 110th St" and he cringes everytime he plays them which isnt very often since theres not to many battles out this way but still they could work when hes just out spinning at the local lounge
that list i have posted in the breaking section i have damn near everything on that list on mp3 some are way to hard to get or find but yeah

I was wanting the pioneer 1000mk2's but they are way more expensive and this deal i posted about shit i get damn near everything

some of my dj friends have told me if they were to get any kind of cd decks it would be between these and the pioneer 1000's

But yeah anyways we just recently got a Guitar Center in town so i need to stroll up there and test them out and see which ones a better a fit for me

my boy has a vestax samurai "i think thats what its called" and like i said before thats what im learning on and i dont have a problem with the feel of it at all

ps i really like the "look" of the technic decks because it halfway resembles a "real" turntable :D

If you're shelling out $2500. You could get a cheap pair of decks and start collecting vinyl!
