everytime people start threads about what music people listen to besides hiphop you always get the same list of jazz/soul artists that are "allowed" to listen to when you also listen to hip hop.

But c'mon, there has to be some POP-MUSIC fans in here too. I know some of you like N'Sync, Robbie Williams or even Backstreet Boys. So what kind of pop music do people listen to? I'll go first

the beatles,beach boys,motown stuff(specially the supremes),burt bacharach,phil spector,old doo wop,bubblegum stuff like hermans hermits,everly brothers....fleetwood mac...prince(purple rain)...oasis(and other britpop)...nirvana...i dunno pop is so broad.theres smart quality pop and theres electronic trash with computerized voices.

I never tried to hide my love of Pop Music. I have always been a fan of N'Sync since the first time I heard "tearing up my heart". I have a collection of mix pop cd's I bump at work. That shit & Hootie makes me happy!

BTW, Pink's first album is classic shit! She sucks now.

she says its the otherway round, her first albumn was over-produced and too slick, too poppy, the bigger she got the more creative control she got and her music became more anthem-for-lesbians-like

tell me about it!! Private Show is my shit!! True, the whole album is tight. The wife and I were sick with her new style. If she says this wasn't her then she needs to be someone else. That album was great, I think I'll put it on now!!

etc etc... there's always songs out on the music channels which i like,.... (music channels in india only play pop)
...i dunno pop is so broad.
