This movie depicts the story of a crusty old, semi-racist man living in a neighborhood filled with gang violence and turmoil. Then a family of asians move in next door to him. At first he resents them but over time begins to develop a close bond with them in the wake of all the chaos that is surrounding them. The premise is well put together, the acting is superb and the movie is extremely compelling overrall. It's one of those movies that sucks you in once you start watching it. I loved it. Clint Eastwood is the fucking man and I felt he deserved an oscar nomination for this role as well as a best director nod.

The rawness of his comments is just hilarious. Enjoyed that one.

I just watched The Hurt Locker... pretty good, though not the best war movie I've seen it's right up there.

Boogie Nights- Set in Southern California in the late 1970s and early 1980s, during the Golden Age of Porn, the screenplay focuses on a young nightclub dishwasher who becomes the popular star of pornographic films and finds himself slowly descending into a nightmare of drug abuse when his fame draws him into a crowd of users and abusers.

I enjoyed watching this movie good plot and the cast is really excellent

Mark Whalberg
John C Reiley
Phillip seymour hoffman
Burt reynolds
Jullianne Moore
William H Macey

Wow I forgot about this movie. Didn't Don Cheadle have a role in this one, too? Something to do with a brown paper bag comes to mind.

Way of War
To put it simply, this is the worst shit I've seen in a very long time. And because I haven't seen something this bad in a very long time, I can't remember the last thing I've seen that was nearly this bad. So it's safe to say that this is the worst shit I've seen ever, to my knowledge. Avoid at all costs.

1/10
(two points awarded for the ability of duping J.K. Simmons to act in this piece of shit, but one point deducted for actually duping J.K. Simmons to act in this piece of shit)

The Children of Huang Shi - Trailer

I found this to be a very good film. Based on the true story of a British journalist in 1930's China who was an educator of a group of children who became orphans during Japanese invasion.

Starring: Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Radha Mitchell, Chow Yun-Fat, and Michelle Yeoh

8/10

Just saw Alice In Wonderland.
It was okay, but it was as bland as the previews SHOULD HAVE eluded to. Depp is a Two-steppin' beast though..
