I find it funny that these incidents are not reported in the news, but then again
...what do you expect from a state that chose not to celebrate MLK's b-day. I don't even find it surprising that there is actually a fucking calender that has these people scheduled to hold rallies in parts of the state.
That's because with the media being a majority white owned enterprise, that would mean that they have to actually police them selves, and expose their own for being as racist as the rest of america has known that they were the whole time, that would mean that white america would actually have to take a long look in the mirror and come to terms that they really are racist, and that it's not just an exaggeration.
White America? Or White Racists denying that they are racists? I dont know any racists.. and most of my friends are white.
I know that the areas people live in have a lot to do with what types of cultural difference (hence viewpoints on race etc...) you may run into. For example: In Baltimore city, black on white racism is high, but in Glen Burnie maryland, white on black racism is predominate. In Pikesville maryland, black and white racism is unheard of, but anti-semitism is very high. In Towson maryland, black on arab racism is high. In Anne Arundel County, however, there is a decent amount of non-violent, yet white on black racism.
The most logical explanation is that since white is the majority, then obviously you will here of anything white being predominate. To further this example, and without research, I could logically conclude that white people probably hold a majority interest in Computers in America, play more baseball or sports then any other race in America, or .. sing then any other race in America. It is not because they are white, but rather, because there is such a greater deal more of whites, then any other race.
No one collective race really has to look in a mirror and say "I am a racist." That is just bogus, because even if they do this, then no one is going to believe them anyway, because no one believes them when they deny that they are racist. To expound on this, if a white man is not racist, and looks in the mirror and says "I am racist," are you then going to accuse him of being a liar?
Conclusion? The best thing anyone can do, is judge only themselves, and to treat others the way that they would want to be treated. Love your neighbor in other words. We have to accept that each of us will deal with something horrible eventually, and hope and try to not allow it to happen to one another. I know that you believe these things as truth, so we are brothers. No one is silly enough to say that racism is limited to only one race, because they completely contradict their argument!
I think that the only conclusion with the purpose of writing "Kill Obama," that we (who do not know the person who did this, or factually why,) relate its meaning to the type of propaganda we watch and read. For example, If you watch tons of anti-gov vids and read the same type of literature, then the first thing that is going to come to your mind when you see "Kill Obama," is "oh, the writer must hate Obama's handling of government. On the flip side, if you watch lots of racial propaganda, then you are going to see "Kill Obama," and naturally assume, "Oh, the writer must hate Obama because he is black."
Therefore, I think that the deepest any of us can go, if we do not know the writer of this hateful statement, is that.. "for one reason, or another, this person hates Obama." What does it mean if you get all of these people to believe that the write of this statement was racist, when in fact, he just hates Obama's policies to the point of wanting him dead? It might not make the writer any less hateful, however, it does add to the spreading of misinformation.
