The match-ups in this series are pretty interesting. I'm excited to see the front court match-ups. Hedo and Ariza/Odom seem to match-up fairly evenly. But the match-up of Dwight and Bynum and Gasol and Shard should be good. Will Bynum get destroyed by Dwight? Can Pau keep up with Shard? Can Shard handle Pau in the post? A lot of people are taking the Lakers to win in 6 or fewer but I don't think it's going to be that easy. When you have a team like the Magic that can score in bunches, and do it quickly, no lead is safe. Should be a very good series.

I think it would be good if the Lakers avoided doubling Dwight. Orlando's too dangerous of a team to just have their shooters open. This should be a tough series for the Lakers, but I see it ending in 6 or fewer. The Lakers are too hungry, have the experience and have the go-to closer in Kobe to take it in the home stretch. Pau will also provide problems for Shard in the post, also.

When the Magic say "team", they mean team. The Lakers don't have enough good defenders to go around, simply put.

It's what's Gasol gonna do if he has to come out on Lewis...or Hedo....Get took to the hole where a soft ass Bynum will be waiting to get yanged on.

The Lakers will try to counter all that by sticking to the shooters and letting Dwight do his thing w/o doubling him. Pau can stick with his man on the perimeter. The matchup problem for the Magic is Lamar. And if Jameer comes back, dude will be far from game shape and could possibly be more of a hinderance to the team and its chemistry. The Magic are effective shooters on the perimeter, but they're still a team relying on their jump shooting to bail Dwight out. The long rebounds from the missed shots the Magic create will play well into the Lakers starting fast breaks, which they're known to do much damage from. Besides Dwight, the Magic aren't all that physical of a team. The series will end quickly in LA's favor.

I see this going 7 and i'm gonna lean towards the Lakers as a fan, but I wouldn't be shocked in the least if Orlando pulled it out, they've closed out Boston in Boston and beat the Cavs at home, the whole home court advantage theory is bunk

Wow the lakers are showing the magic they are for real right now. Bryant did his normal thing but Odom and Gasol both stepped up big specially near the end of the game

Just like I said, Kobe is having a MUCH better series so far than Superman that's why the Lakers are winning. The Laker bigs are not letting Howard get anything off in the paint, but the scary thing about Howard is he said recently that he knows he's not a good player yet and is only about 20% as good as he's going to be... so the Magic may lose this year, but Howard WILL get multiple rings before his careers over... count on that.
