Anyone going to any this year? I wanted to go to Reading, but I'm fucking skint right now and can't afford a weekend ticket which is now swilling around ebay for £stupid, so may have to settle for a day ticket.

Which day ticket should I get? Hint: if you say anything but Friday, you're an idiot

You shouldn't even bother going.

Go to this instead.. http://www.bestival.net .. acutally is the best festival ever. no A Level students being nobs like you get at Reading/Leeds.

Also considering this one aswell http://www.laroutedurock.com. £45.00 for 3 days in St Malo, France. Ferry direct from Portsmouth, can't be missed, it's a fucking steal.

(Why've you changed you name? Much confusion)

Septembers a write off for me I'm afraid. And I know what you mean about the A level kids, or younger, thinking they're the bollocks. Makes me cringe cause I wonder how similar to that I was.

That French get up could be interesting... but I've no grasp of French so have no idea what that site is saying to me

Fuck... me....

NYPC and Peter Bjorn & John would have been tempting enough... but fucking Smashing Pumpkins and SONIC YOUTH!? Jesus. Fuck me that would have been the tits.

I'll probably hit up Dour Festival again. Had a good time last year, though the line-up hasn't got anything I REALLY want to see just yet (except Battles). But yeah, only 75 of the 200 names have been confirmed already, so there might be some more great names.

That lineup looks decent, a few good acts and a good chance to go and find some hidden gems you didn't know of before.

Most festivals in the UK have got too big, and hence attract too many people and cost too much.

Fuck me, I want to go to lollapalooza!

I was thinking about going to Benicassim this year. I'm still waiting for the complete line-up, but atm it doesn't look like I'll be going. Too many artists that I don't know. So now I'm thinking about Rock Werchter. I would rather go somewhere sunny though :|

Lollapalooza does indeed look fantastic...

Rock Werchter has a pretty good line-up this year, but I can't go due to other obligations (+ lack of money). Anyway, if you're going, prepare yourself for insanely high beer prices though (between 2,15 and 2,50 EUR... depends if you bring back your empty cups and shit). Or you could do as a friend of mine did last year, and go bury beer on the festival site a few months in advance.

2.15-2.50... insanely high!!??? Bollocks! Thats like £1.60-£2.00!!! Fuck me if I found a pub doing beer for £1.60 I'd be laughing. Try £3.00 a go

Those are not pints, you know, it's only 25 cl, no half-a-litres. Plus the beer prices in Britain are ridiculously high by Belgian standards. In a normal pub you'll pay between 1,40 to 1,80 EUR for a normal beer down here.

I've seen Radiohead live. They were 11 out of 10.

for those who are contemplating doing as these two unfortunate souls have just done, rethink your decision. natty will get VERY mad.
