I usally wake up around 8 on schooldays. Takes about half an hour to get all ready. On the weekend it takes me up to five hours to get out of bed.

I have a fabulous alarm clock that lights up slowly like a sunrise, so your body starts waking up naturally. And then after 15 minutes of sunrising (or however long you want your sunrise to be), the radio comes on to wake you up. It makes me feel SO much more pleasant than my old traditional BEEEEEEEPing alarm clock, when it feels like it's still night time because it's too early and dark outside.

i don't understand, it lights up instead of rings? what if your body isn't facing it as you sleep?

sounds cool nonetheless

It's bright enough that the whole room lights up - not REALLY bright like a lamp, but bright enough that it looks like it's a sunny morning (instead of DARK outside, which it really is). You can also make it beep or play the radio, or make the light flash at you. I have it set on a 15 min. sunrise, so it starts really dim and then gets brighter gradually - and then at the end of 15 minutes the radio comes on to wake me up.
