Churches will not be able to afford to run charities... since "taxes" will take care of it.... and the gov will dictate whom is deserving of what..

or Books will be burned in the street. God knows what else..

If people want to burn their books, by all means, burn them.... the government cannot enforce this type of behaviore.
This is like telling people they have to pay a tax that will help someone else... which sounds good at first notion... except the person your helping is a lazy alchoholic who knows how to play the system....
