Everythings good. Just working, promoting my new album Sharper Images,

and doing shows.

So I see you got the new solo joint about to pop off....tell us

About that?

Yup. Sharper Images. It's the most complete in my opinion. I really

focused on the sound quality, concepts, adding cuts to songs, even the

sequencing of the album. I took this one very serious.

Who are the producers and guests on this new album?

We got my man dj pocket, knotty beats, doc west, mudfish, vanderslice,

zo, j. scienide, and myself. As far as guests of course I have the

Binkis fam, Fkux and killa kalm. I also have Amdex from Clan Destined

on there. I kept the collabs low on this one. I just wanted to get it

in and let the people know where my head is at without a lot of

distractions.

You been on the grind for a long time now, how many releases you got out their?

Wow. I have 5 solo joints, like two mixtapes, and mad guest

appearences. I like to rap, what can I say! (Laughs)

I know your originally from Queens but reside in ATL these days,

how do you like it down in the south compared to being in NY for an indie artist?

Umm.. that's a good question. Well the kind of music I do is not

heavily liked in the south. Their independent grind is trap or snap

rap out the trunk. I honestly always have to keep a connection in New

York. Honestly if it wasn't for Bobbito Garcia who is in New York, a

lot of people would not be familiar with us anywhere. But being down

here allows me to not be around a million emcee's like me.

What's good with Binkis, yall got anything new coming up?

Yup. Killa Kalm has a solo about to drop. The London album should be

out at the top of 08. We are also working a second Binkis joint as we

speak. It's going to be crazy!!! We have a lot to say on this one.

Umm.. the tentative title is "Blackeye"... thats how we are feeling.

The sound is gonna be more aggressive. In your face type deal. We got

different production this time also. The last joint I did 98% of the

production. On this one I'm going to do less.

Yall been holding it down for a long time with the shows, the

crew, etc. What keeps your team tight as yall have remained over the years?

We knew each other before we decided to do music. I've known Flux for

like 17 years, and killa for 13 years. And we are grown men without

egos. We can critique each other without feelings getting hurt. And we

all grew up doing the same things, as well as listening to the same

music.

For those that might not know, who all makes up Binkis?

Flux, Killa Kalm, DJ Mafioso, Myself, Lumbajak, Spice, Coda Ciege. The

last few names are who we got coming next.

I see you have a Youtube video channel and been doing some dope

commercials for your solo album. How important do you feel it is to

have that visual?

That's what it is now. Since nobody is buying music like that you have

to keep them entertained. I always was into visuals... videos, album

covers, stickers, etc. It just adds to the awareness of the music.
