Collecting records and DJing since the age of 13, Baltimore's Fusion Unlimited got into production years ago starting with local Baltimore hip-hop acts. He got his proverbial "big break" into the industry when he produced Mad Skillz' "Ghostwriter" (Rawkus), one of the most talked about and highest selling independent singles of 2000.
See Also:Also in 2000, Fusion inked a deal with Beni B's ABB Records to release two 12" singles. The first single, "Holes In the Mic" finds Fusion collaborating with Mad Skillz again. The song also features Lonnie B, and will introduce the world to another Baltimore unsung hero, Kneel Knaris. The B-side of the record will include a song by El the Sensei, one half of the now defunct, but still legendary, Artifacts. In addition to his work with ABB, Fusion is currently working on, or has recently done, tracks for Pharoahe Monch, Ed O.G., Tiye Phoenix, Truth Enola, The Associates, and many more. Fusion can also be found DJing in area clubs every now and then and every Friday night on the infamous "Strictly Hip Hop" show, during which he does his own "Milk Crates" segment, on Morgan State Radio.
