*New York radio jock Angie Martinez was involved in a nasty car crash late last week in advance of her first annual Angie Martinez Hair Show and Beauty Expo over the weekend at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom.

The Hot 97 star told MTV News that she fell asleep at the wheel and drove over a median before crashing into several cars. Martinez escaped injury, except for a slight limp, MTV reported.

Meanwhile, her two-day hair event brought out Missy Elliott, Lil Mama, Nina Sky, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and others. Cassidy, Trey Songz and Fabolous performed.
