While Kanye West and Just Blaze combined for 12 songs off Freeway’s debut, Philadelphia Freeway, the two super producers are noticeably absent from his sophomore set, Free At Last. The Philadelphia emcee recently addressed the West/Blaze void. “I’m a give you a scenario. Me and you work together. You’re the artist. I’m the producer. I do 12 songs on your album. We got a great chemistry together. When the next album comes around, of course I’ma reach out to work with you. And you gon' reach out to work with me, and If I don’t work with you, you gon feel some type of way,” Free explained to BET.com. “Like, I really feel some type of way. And I ain’t sh-tng on Just. A lot of the features that I got and everything, that came from me sitting around Just and [him] putting me on the joints…the Mariah joint on my album, the Faith Evans ‘Burnin’ Up’ joint, he did all that. I just didn’t know what was going on. I never did nothing to him. I couldn’t get at him, I just let the world know. Cause that’s a question that people naturally gon' ask me. 'Why Just not on your album?' I jus put it in a song and let them know. I ain’t say f--k them, none of that.” While Free hasn’t spoken to Just since the track surfaced, he has run into Kanye. “I seen Kanye. We did a show in Chicago,” Free revealed. “It’s all good. I mean, it’s real talk. It wasn’t like I was dissing him or nothing. That’s just how it went down. I wanna send a rest in peace shout out to Kanye’s moms and my condolences from my family to his.”
