The 32-year-old complained that the preoccupation with the Toxic star has gotten out of control, comparing the media's feeding frenzy to ancient Roman audiences jeering for the death of gladiators. She says, "There's this anti-intellectualism going on with all the magazines who cover her. It's almost like the days of the gladiators. The people are begging for death."
