50 Cent was named the best selling Hip-Hop artist in the world at the 19th Annual World Music Awards November 4.

The awards, which take place each year in Monaco, choose winners based on actual global album sales figures as opposed to voting.

50's "Curtis" album helped propel him to win the Best Selling Hip-Hop artist award.

Other winners included Akon, Shaggy and Rihanna.
