2K Sports, the publisher behind several 2K gaming titles, announced Thursday (November 1) the in-game soundtrack for their 2K8 version of "College Hoops."

The tracklisting reads as a who's who among hip-hop underground elite, featuring an eclectic cross section of artists hand-picked to reflect the broad and discerning tastes of the college basketball crowd.

Artists such as Dilated Peoples, Deltron 3030, Guilty Simpson, Jurassic 5 and J Dilla grace the in-game soundtrack, alongside others from different genres.

"College Hoops 2K8" marks the return of the best rated college basketball game for five straight years. It is slated for release this fall for Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2 gaming consoles.
