Cash Money co-founder Bryan ‘Birdman" Williams will be releasing his third solo album titled 5 Star Stunna this winter.

The album will feature appearances from Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Cash Money newcomer Brisco. 

Production on the project will be supplied by Cool & Dre, T-Mixx, Scott Storch & Swizz Beatz, among others.

The New Orleans bred rapper won the ‘Viewers Choice Award' at the 2nd BET Hip Hop Award on Saturday (October 13) for his hit single with Lil Wayne, "Stuntin' Like My Daddy".  The award show will air today (October 17) at 8 p.m.(ET).

Florida rapper Plies recently announced the launch of his blog called BidLong.com.

The blog will be used as a platform for the rapper to express his concerns about America's prison system and for fans to interact and share their personal stories relating to incarceration and other current events.

In related news, Plies' single , "Shawty" which features T-Pain , recently attained platinum status by selling over one million ringtones  to date.

Fans of the Slip-N-Slide rapper can catch him perform at the BET Hip Hop Awards pre-show, which airs today ( October 17) at 6 p.m.(ET).

RUMOR: MAN DOWN

Rumor is floating around that 50 Cent recently got into an altercation with one of his cast mates  during the  production of the movie Righteous Kill.

According to MediaTakeout, 50 and actor Frank John Hughes got into a heated argument after Hughes confronted the G-Unit boss about not knowing his lines. Minuets later, 50 would drop Hughes to the ground and begin attacking him.

Word is that is Hughes is ‘Ok' but the production crew is now terrified of getting on 50's bad side.

As reported earlier, Righteous  Kill is being shot in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The film stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino who play two police officers who attempt to catch a serial killer, while resolving personal issues between each other. 50 will play a drug dealer in the film which will open in theatres in 2008.
