Shortly after his brief hearing yesterday afternoon (October 15) , federal agents held a press conference to display nine guns which were found in T.I's  car and house on Saturday afternoon. (October 13).

According to The Atlanta Journal Constitution , among the guns displayed included an AK-47, a 9-mm handgun , three machine guns and the two silencers.

As reported earlier, T.I. was arrested at a shopping center parking lot in midtown Atlanta on Saturday (October 13) while trying to purchase a machine gun and two silencers from his bodyguard.  During the arrest, his house was searched and six guns were found.

T.I.'s bodyguard, who was busted on Wednesday (October 10) by an AFT agent trying to purchase the aforementioned guns , told authorities he was buying the guns for the rapper and arranged the meeting on Saturday.

The identity of T.I.'s bodyguard has not been revealed and authorities at the press conference refused to discuss any deal they struck with him. The bodyguard is under arrest and facing charges which have also not been revealed.

T.I. has been charged with two felonies--possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon. If convicted on both charges, T.I. faces at least five years in prison.
