California based hip-hop/punk rock hybrid the Kottonmouth Kings have announced the tour dates for their upcoming "Cloud 9" Tour featuring Big B and The Dirtball.
See Also:"We've totally revamped the set for this new upcoming Cloud 9 tour and we're going to dig into some of the classic Kottonmouth tracks and new material. We're looking forward to the music in front of the people and unifying the underground." The tour announcement comes on the heels of Kottonmouth Kings "Cloud 9" debuting on the Billboard 200 at #44 and on the Top Independent charts at #2. Kottonmouth Kings' "Cloud 9" is also racking up impressive spins at radio with the debut single "City 2 City" featuring Tech N9ne. The song has become one of the most requested tracks at Sirius Satellite Radio, while the video has been viewed over 150,000 times within a month of its release. The Cloud 9 Tour will also become the campaign trail for Kottonmouth Kings visual assassin Pakelika, who recently announced his bid for the 2008 Presidential election. "I've decided to declare my candidacy for president to make our country truly great again and to uphold the constitution. We the people can solve our issues, which in my opinion are global warming and finding alternative fuels, both of which could be solved by decriminalizing the plant marijuana and hemp," says the masked member of the Kottonmouth Kings. "We need to establish healthcare that works for everyone and end homelessness and hunger here in America. We also need to end the war on drugs and bring our troops home because they don't need to be fighting a war based on deception. We need to repair our relationship with the rest of the world and put the soul back in our country to make America a place the world looks up to once again."
