Prodigy (Mobb Deep) has been sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a loaded gun Tuesday (Oct. 9).

The New York Daily News reports that Prodigy interrupted the trial yesterday to confess to owning the unlicensed .22-caliber pistol found in an armrest of his bullet-proofed Chevy Suburban last October in Chelsea.

Prodigy was busted after police pulled him over for making an illegal u-turn on 9th avenue in New York.
