Christina Aguilera and Aretha Franklin[/a] are planning a duet.

According to DJ Premier, who worked on Aguilera's 'Back To Basics' album, the two are working on material together.

Premier said: "Christina got back at me because she's doing a duet with Aretha Franklin."

No release date is known for the duet, but it is thought that it will feature on Franklin's forthcoming album 'Jewels In The Crown: All Star Duets With the Queen', which is set to be released later on this year, reports Hip Hop Canada.
