After showing off her acting chops in some of the year's biggest films, Queen Latifah is set to tackle yet another role in the new Fox movie What Happens In Vegas...

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the flick will star Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz, with a very special, surprise appearance by Latifah, whose role is being kept under wraps. Kutcher and Diaz will play two people who discover after a night of debauchery in Vegas that they've gotten married, with one of them hitting a jackpot after playing the other's quarter.

Continually adding to her cinematic resume, Latifah will also star alongside Diane Keaton and Katie Holmes in Overture Films' Mad Money, which will hit theaters in January 2008. The movie centers around three women who strike up an unlikely friendship while working at the Federal Reserve and concoct a plan to rob the bank.

In related news, the Queen's latest album, Trav'lin' Light, recently made a strong debut on the Billboard charts. The jazz-flavored LP is her highest debut album to date, landing at No. 11 and selling 51,000 in it's first week on the shelves.
