R&B twin sister duo, Nina Sky, have recently inked a new record deal with Polo Grounds/J Records for the release of their sophomore album due next year.
See Also:The forthcoming album, titled The Musical, is said to feature production by Cipha Sounds, Cool & Dre, Salaam Remi, Ryan Leslie and Scott Storch, while Trey Songz and Rick Ross are expected to make guest appearances. Although the album was originally due for an early 2007 release via Universal Republic, the Polo Grounds version will be augmented with a few new tracks to be recorded in the coming weeks. The duo's 2004 self-titled debut album peaked at no. 21 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. The album's hit single, "Move Ya Body," reached the top 5 on U.S. R&B Singles charts.
