Super producer Dallas Austin is preparing to launch his new clothing line Rowdy, named after the record label he launched in 1992.

Austin, who has produced hits for Madonna, Ciara, Bjork, Janet Jackson, TLC, Monica, Da Back Wudz and many others, hopes the new street couture line will be just as successful as his career in the music business.

"I found that there was a lack of men's clothing that spoke to the new generation," Austin said. "I wanted to fill that void by creating a brand that exemplifies cutting edge style, and a collection that breaks ethnic boundaries."

The collection, which was conceived by Dallas Austin and Gregory "Greg Mike" Mensching of Atlanta's CI Group, fuses "punk and prep influences, with a distinctive European militant touch" and ranges from jeans to classic polo's, bomber jackets, military jackets and sneakers.

Prices range from $70 - $300 for Rowdy, which is due in stores in January of 2008.
