Memphis-based rap group 8Ball & MJG are set to release Ridin' High," their sophomore release for Bad Boy Records, on February 13, 2007. The album is led by "Relax and Take Notes," the club hit and first single,  featuring Notorious B.I.G. and Project Pat.  “Ridin’ High” is proving to be their strongest album ever, showcasing hard-hitting hip-hop, with a respectful nod to R&B and the blues, on stand out tracks like the title track, "Ridin High" and "Stand Up."
 
With 15+ years in the game, Eightball (Premro Smith) and MJG (Marlon Goodwin) have developed a sound that is still appreciated and emulated more than a decade after they stepped on the scene.  13 years after the release of their Suave House debut, “Comin’ Out Hard,” and the string of successful releases that followed, the duo are still making their innovative brand of soul music.  A testament to their unwavering relevance is their signing in 2002 to P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment. What followed was 2004’s “Living Legends,” their Bad Boy debut album, the major club hit, “Buck Bounce” with DJ Quick and “Stay Fly” with Three 6 Mafia (2005).
 
With "Ridin' High" 8Ball & MJG do what they do best, make good music. When asked about their timeless sound, they reply: "We never tried to keep up. We always just do us and you can call it what you want.”
