The late Proof will see the release of a new album next year through his Iron Fist Records.
The new album, Time A Tell, will feature 18 tracks written and recorded by Proof during a 24-hour period in January, according to the Associated Press.
The original member of D12 was challenged by his friend Julius Myers, known as DJ Jewels Baby, to write and record an entire album in a day. The disc will document the session at Myers' home studio in Detroit.
"It shows how serious Proof was about recording," Myers told The Detroit News.
The album will be the rapper's second, following up, his solo debut, Searching for Jerry Garcia, which was released in August 2005.
Proof (real name: Deshaun Holton) died April 11 in a fatal shooting at Detroit's CCC Club on Eight Mile Road. He was only 32.
Time A Tell is expected to hit stores in 2007.
