After months of investigation and several arrests, the FBI reeled in Irv Gotti today, alleging that Gotti's Murder Inc. label--home to Ja Rule and Ashanti--laundered money for a large interstate narcotics operation, AP reported. Gotti (nee Irv Lorenzo) and his brother, Christopher, turned themselves in on a day when authorities planned to release an indictment charging that Gotti funneled funds totaling in the hundreds of thousands through Murder Inc. for Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff, Gotti's childhood friend and a major player in New York's narcotics scene. McGriff is already incarcerated on a weapons charge. Stay tuned for more on this story as it unfolds.
