Imani of the Pharcyde and Fatlip made an appearance at a Hip-Hop event in Southern California on Saturday during a A Tribe Called Quest concert. They announced on-stage that Fatlip has reunited with the current Pharcyde members Booty Brown and Imani.
It's confirmed that this is not official according to Chapter One, their record label. There aren't any definite plans of Fatlip working on any upcoming projects or participating in the upcoming Pharcyde tour. However, we will have to wait to see if the group decides to change their mind.
Fatlip was kicked out of the Pharcyde in 1995 after they ended the tour for their sophomore release Labcabincalifornia. Over the past several years he's ended up recording songs with L.A. Symphony, R&B artist Mya and working on his solo career. He has an upcoming project on Delicious Vinyl with a tentative release date.
The Pharcyde recently released their latest album "Humboldt Beginnings." A video for their upcoming single "Knew U" was recently shot which should soon be hitting video outlets.
