With the release of their album "The Listening" not only did this 3 man group, composed of 2 emcees and 1 producer (Big Pooh, Phonte & 9th Wonder) get the Hip Hop heads listening, but the Industry as well. The release of their album came along with a buzz more mighty than a hornet on steroids. Now after gaining much critical acclaim Little Brother seems to be making a career move that will make them household names via their partnership with Atlantic Records. Word from Big Pooh is that the move to major label Atlantic Records is a sure thing that will be executed as soon as all the contracts are in place. The move means easier access to radio and video to assure Little Brother of their place in every Hip Hop heads ear. They are currently 7-8 tracks deep into the new album which should be out near the 4th quarter of 2004. The North Carolinians are also featured in the soundtrack on the new Coen Brothers film Ladykillers starring Tom Hanks and Marlon Wayans. The track "Sinners" will appear on the soundtrack album due to drop via Sony Records on March 23rd. Last but not least Little Brother will be out in Japan for 2 weeks near the end of February. 2004 seems like a promising year for Little Brother.
