Dates for the first annual Traditional Rap Tour have just been announced. Beginning January 9th and continuing throughout February, in celebration of Black History Month, the Traditional Rap Tour will travel the country bringing back the real hip-hop to fans nationwide. Featured acts in the 3+ hour show include: Camp Lo, Tajai of Hieroglyphics, Grand Agent, Mark Spitz, Addict Merchants, Trunks, Maestro Black, Tribeca, Greans, DJ Devroof Demolition Men and US ITF scratch Champion DJ Teeko.

The Traditional Rap tour aims to recreate the golden age of hip-hop’s inception by emulating the park jams and house parties of the early days. Both a tribute to the creators and pioneers of the culture, and a refresher course on hip-hop 101, the Traditional Rap Tour is: rappers rapping, deejays deejaying, breakers breaking and writers writing. Throughout the show, fans will be taken on a journey through hip-hop history with Djs and performers dropping sets influenced by all eras of hip-hop from the 70s through the present-day. Fans can expect to hear classic material as well as unreleased and fresh material from forthcoming projects from Camp Lo, Grand Agent and Tajai.
