The popular hip-hop duo, Method Man and Redman, will star in an untitled television comedy.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the untitled project stars the rappers as themselves, living in a white suburb in New Jersey.
"It's a very traditional fish-out-of-water story, but Meth and Red really bring a lot of charisma to it and make it very appealing," said Regency TV Senior Vice President of Comedy development Erin Simon Berenson said.
There isn't a set air date for the project.
Meanwhile, Method Man and Redman are scheduled headline an untitled comedy at New Line Cinema described as an urban version of "The Producers" and Miramax's remake of the South Korean comedy "Jail Breakers". Next, Method Man will appear in "Soul Plane" and Miramax's "My Baby's Mama" which is in theaters in January.
