Andre 3000 and Big Boi have partnered with Polaroid in a new advertising campaign. Andre 3000 says in the song "Hey Ma," for women to dance and "Shake it like a Polaroid picture." Polaroid gained interest in the group after hearing the line through MVBMS, an international ad agency.
Under the partnership with Outkast and Polaroid, Outkast will have Polaroid cameras on stage during their stage performances.
Even political candidates have reconized Outkcast for using the line about Polaroid.
Democratic presidential candidate Gen. Wesley Clark was quoted as saying: “I don’t know much about hip-hop. But I do know OutKast can make you shake it like a Polaroid picture.”
Polaroid is looking to attract a younger demographic. The campaign may begin as early as New Years Eve.
