The 20-track collection features collaborations with Mobb Deep, Fat Joe, Sheek Louch, Tiffany Villarreal, and fellow Wu-Tang members including, Ghostface Killah and Method Man. The first single from the album titled, "Hood," is performing well at radio outlets across the country. Mix shows in major markets such as New York's Hot 97 (WQHT), and Power 105 (WWPR), as well as in Boston's Hot 977 (WBOT) and Chicago's Power 92 (WPWX) have embraced the latest effort from Raekwon. The video-clip for "Hood" was directed by The Lazarus Brother (Trick Daddy, Trina) and is in rotation at BET's Rap City. Raekwon (also known as Chef) is one of the nine talented emcees who comprise the ground-breaking rap clique the Wu-Tang Clan, which released the multi-platinum debut "Enter The Wu Tang: 36 Chambers" in 1993. Shining as the purist of the hip-hop lyricists, he released his first solo CD; the gold certified "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx" in 1995, followed by his gold certified sophomore CD, "Immobilarity" in 1999. Raekwon also starred in the critically acclaimed film "Black and White," which featured Robert Downey, Jr., Brooke Shields and Mike Tyson. In addition to the release of The Lex Diamond Story, Raekwon has an entrepreneurial endeavor, Ice Water Inc., his multi-purpose business venture and partnership with Randy Spelling (son of TV mogul Aaron Spelling). The company is composed of music, movies, fashion, books and a four-man group named Ice Water.
