Details have emerged of another LP from Tupac Shakur to be released in early 2004. It will be the seventh such album to be released since the rapper was murdered in September 1996.
Legal consultant Dina LaPolt for Amaru Entertainment, the company owned by 2pac's mother, indicates there is still more to come.
"There are years of his intellectual property to be exploited," she says in an interview with Rolling Stone. "We're really humble, knowing that we're doing this to preserve a legacy."
The recent documentary about Tupac, "Tupac: Resurrection", recently took almost $5 million on its opening weekend in the United States. The soundtrack for the film sold 435,000 copies in its first week and is currently number seven on the Billboard 100.
The first single from the soundtrack, "Runnin (Dying To Live)", is currently No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
