Tha Liks have landed a deal with Waxploitation/IMusic/BMG. The group was originally signed to Loud Records until the label was acquired by Sony Music.
The group is preparing to release their upcoming album, Firewater. It's expected to be released in May 2004.
"We're thrilled," Waxploitation CEO Jeff Antebi added. "I think Tha Liks are putting out an album that will hit a chord with not just loyal fans, but also kids in the action sports world, video game world and import car culture. There's an unlimited number of ways to promote this group. And hip-hop needs a party record right away. That's for sure."
