Fans will be glad to know that the Pharcyde will be releasing their 4th album "Humbolt Beginnings" in Feburary of 2004. The album features the current members Bootie Brown and Imani. Expect for the first single from the album to be released in January.
See Also:Speaking of upcoming Pharcyde releases, expect to hear Bootie Brown of the Pharcyde on the upcoming compilation entitled "Convexed" being released on Nature Sound Records. He's featured on a song called "I Smoke." The album is produced by The Prof., responsible for the music production of ESPN's prime time hit "Streetball" and masterminding High Times' THC Vol. 1. The compilation is set to be released on October 21st, 2003. Ever since Slim Kid Tre (Tre' Hardson) and Fatlip departed the group, they have tried to pursue their music careers without the help of the Pharcyde. Recently, Tre and Fatlip hooked up with R&B Superstar Mya for a remix for "Fallen." The remix reuses the classic Pharcyde song "Runnin'." People can preview the new Mya remix featuring Tre and Fatflip at: http://www.myamya.com Just for the record, the Pharcyde do not endorse any projects that Slim Kid Tre or Fatlip are currently working on. Tre and Fatlip are trying to use the Pharcyde name but aren't active members of the group. And, there is no plans on the group reconciling.
