Latest rumour is that Mobb Deep have signed a deal with the indie label following their departure from Loud. Another rumour is that they will have a new album out in February also. Could explain where all these mixtape joints are coming from all of a sudden.

Everyone is anticipating the new Gangstarr album, which drops in February (that month is turning out to be a very popular month for hiphop). Well, here's an updated list of guest appearances on the album. We should expect appearances from M.O.P, Big Shug, Freddie Foxxx, Snoop Dogg and now Jadakiss of the LOX has been added to the line up. Apparently, Headquarterz (who was recently killed a few weeks ago) will show up on the album, either on a skit or a track.

People wondering what has happened to the new album from Big Daddy Kane titled "The Man, The Icon". Well expect that to drop sometime in February on LandSpeed Records.

The new DMX single, "X Gon' Give To Ya" is scheduled to hit stores in the US on February 11th.

Moving away from Hiphop, the trio known as City High are recording tracks for their sophomore album. The album, tentatively titled "The High" will be released sometime next year. So far, the trio have only recorded tracks with Wyclef Jean, but may tap the shoulder of Dr. Dre for a couple of tracks. They also promised a more old skool R&B sound for their new album.

Finally, Snoop, Nate Dogg and Warren G are set to come together next year to record a '213' album. The album had been planned a couple of years back, but never came to life. It's now looking likely the album will happen as soon as the trio can ink a record deal.
