Over a decade later, The Lyricist Lounge remains the premier forum for showcasing underground talent, serving as a springboard for some of the greatest emcees today, including Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Slick Rick, Eminem, Foxy Brown, MOP, Rah Digga, Guru, Bahamadia, Mobb Deep, Q-Tip, Common, The Roots, Sean “P-Diddy” Combs, and the late Notorious B.I.G., to name a few. The saga continues, as The Lyricist Lounge brings in the new year with its latest installment: Crown Royal presents The Lyricist Lounge Tour 2002, with headline performances by Eric Sermon and Scarface. Kicking off on Friday, December 6th in Washington, DC, the tour also features guest performances by up-and coming artists Poverty, Blesenation, Killah Priest, and Grafh.
