With over 545,000 copies of his new album, "The Blueprint 2" sold, Jay-Z has decided that his next album will be his last. "The Black Album" is described to be an album that is the 'prequel' to Jay-Z's debut outing, "Reasonable Doubt". A very ambitious claim, but we will see when the album drops sometime next year.
In related Roc-A-Fella Records news, watch out for the "Paid In Full" soundtrack which is in stores now. Following this, we will finally see Freeway's debut album, "Philadelphia Freeway" drop in the Spring and after that, Memphis Bleek will drop his third album. The Roc are also concentrating on the R&B and Rock marke. Dame Dash has signed a number of R&B/Rock acts to the label, including Samantha Ronson, Alan Anthony, Mark Anthony and Rick Vocals.
