Fat Joe is enjoying a lot of success with his latest album, "J.O.S.E" and is nearing platinum status with that very album. However, don't think that he will be resting after a busy last months. Joe is already talking about recording a new album, but wants to get the Remy Martin and Tony Sunshine albums out of the way first. He also says that fellow TS member, Armageddon is concentrating more on the production side of the industry and currently doesn't have much interest in recording a solo album, although he is said to be keen on doing a collaboration album with Joe.
Hiphop veteran and beatboxer, the Biz Markie will finally release his new album "The Weekend Warrior" in October. Rumoured guest appearances include DJ Premier, DJ Hi-Tek and Snoop Dogg?!
Slum Village will release their new album, "Trinity: Past, Present & Future" on July 30th. Rumours that producer JayDee had left the group aren't exactly true, although he will be playing a lesser role on this new album.
Angie Martinez is currently working on her sophomore album on Elekra Records, which has been titled "Animal House". The first single from the album will be a joint called "If I Could Go", which can be listened to here.
