Slick Rick is currently in the process of recording his new album and has promised some 'strong' tracks for his new set. The album has been titled tentatively "Ferocious" and the reasoning for the title is because Slick Rick, in his own words, is going to come ferocious on this new album. He's currently recorded half of the album and thus far hasn't recorded any tracks with any big name producers. However, he has stated that he will bring in the big name producers for the second half of his album. Rick also promises that this album will be a more stronger album than his last one and that it will have a lot more 'substance' too. Rick hopes to push the album for a late Summer release on DefJam Records.
