New York, NY April 2002 - High Times Records is preparing to release it’s debut CD, "THC: The Hip Hop Collection Vol. 1," on April 30. The new imprint launched by the celebrated counterculture magazine, High Times, has assembled a 14-song Hip Hop compilation. The disc boasts all new and exclusive material crafted with High Times in mind, by RZA (Wu-Tang Clan), B-Real (Cypress Hill), The Pharcyde, The Beatnuts, The High and Mighty, and Black Moon.

The release of the record also marks the launch of a North American "High Times Tour" this spring. Artists featured on the disc including; Non Phixion, Black Moon, Afu Ra, and Black Moon will roll out on the tour celebrating "the counter culture". Label president, Michael Esterson promises, "Hip Hop and High Times fans alike will not be disappointed." There will be special guests making appearances in select cities.
